开开同学你好，一般smart beta是在equity部分用的比较多，在原版书的fixed income部分中没有特别提到。
smart beta其实就是passive factor investing，指的就是通过一些rule based方法获得一个或多个因子的收益。
如果引申到fixed income也好理解，就是指的获得与fixed income相关的risk factor的收益，例如credit risk factor、liquidity factor 、term factor等。
