A leading economic indicator (LEI) moves ahead of the business cycle by a fairly consistent time interval. 因此我们将领先经济指数简称为LEI；
Individual LEIs can also be combined into a so-called diffusion index, which measures how many indicators are pointing up and how many down. 将单个的LEI组合起来就成为扩散指数。
