Johnny同学你好，只要是机构投资者为他人管理资产，那么就会产生Principal–Agent issues，agent和principle并不局限于某一职务。以下是原版书官方定义：The principal–agent issue arises if one person, the agent, makes decisions on behalf of another person or institution, the principal, and their interests are not aligned. 因此我替你做决定（比如替你管理资产），那么我就是agent，你就是principle，当我们两的利益不一致时就会有Principal–Agent issues

是这个意思，你的理解是对的。
所谓代理人风险，就是当A方是代表B方的利益行事时，A方可能没有按B方的利益最大化所产生的矛盾。
