CFA三级考试中输入公式的相关操作：三级考试不要求在答题中将公式写出来，最终结果正确即可获得对应题目的所有分数。

对于有些题目的回答，写出正确的计算公式可能可以帮助考生得到部分分数。为此，机考软件中将包含公式编辑器（math editor）供考生使用。另外，考生也可以将部分或全部公式以文字形式写出来。
例如：The maximum spending rate that will allow the Foundation to preserve the portfolio´s real value is calculated using the following formula: Expected nominal return that preserves real value of portfolio equals (one plus spending rate) multiplied by (one plus inflation) multiplied by (one plus management fee) minus one.
