书中对output gap的定义如下，
the output gap (the difference between GDP estimated as if the economy were on its trend growth path and the actual value of GDP
根据定义，inflation过大或过小，即恶性通胀或通缩的情况下，output gap都有可能变得更大。
但两者没有一方导致另一方改变的情况，只是可能会有上述的关系变化。
