Johnny同学年后，nonresidiential是指房屋的收入不是通过给别人住来获得，而是让别人在这个房屋里办公、购物、生产、消费来创造收入。而residential property是把房子给别人长住来获取租金，就比如把空房子租出去。

同学你好，租出去的房子的确是commercial，所以你看这页PPT的标题，他说了commercial property分为两类，一类是residential，一类是non-residential，这两个都是属于commercial的。说白了，只要这个房屋是拿来给你创收的，就是commercial，那可以是作为residential来让别人去住并且赚租金，也可以是non residential，作为办公楼、商场、仓库、工厂来收租金。
