俞同学老师，课后题。请问答案里In an inflationary environment, FIFO will generate a higher gross profit than weighted-average cost. For either inventory choice, the current rate method will give higher gross profit to the parent company if the subsidiary’s currency is depreciating.这是如何理解的，我推不出其中的逻辑。老师能否详细讲一下。谢谢

1. FIFO在通胀率升高的环境下，先进先出，先进入的存货会先售出，则留在仓库中的存货价值更高（通胀上升），COGS更低（通胀小的时候售出）；
2. 如果是Current rate method中，Local currency贬值，则现时汇率更低，平均汇率更高，则折算后的存货数值更低，COGS数值更高。
