简单理解，即non-discretionary accruals是按照正常的会计规则做账，discretionary accruals是可能有意扭曲报告的收益。
An important distinction is between accruals that arise from normal transactions in the period (called “non-discretionary”) and accruals that result from transactions or accounting choices outside the normal, which are possibly made with the intent to distort reported earnings (called “discretionary accruals”).
这里的意思是对于NOA的公式，总资产剔除现金后，剩下的部分即为应计部分；总负债剔除总付息债务，相当于剔除了融资活动的影响，剩下的部分视为经营性活动体现的负债。
