optimal set of investment decisions即现在是有一个expansion option的，可以选择行权。那么我们计算出High的时候NPV是正数，Low的时候NPV是负数。
题目中给到信息The option to make the expansion investment depends on making the initial investment.If the initial investment is not made, the option to expand does not exist.因此Low的部分直接不计，结合17题计算出的-5.663来计算NPV。先折现一期，40.361×0.5/1.1=18.346。
再计算NPV=-5.663+18.346=12.683。

第一40.361是什么 第二 既然low的部分不记入 那么普通情景的npv就不是-5.66了啊 第三 折现的那个0.5是什么

1.40.361是需求为high的情况下折现现金流在1时点的现值总和；
2.计算出的期初NPV是不考虑权利的，该数值不变；
3.high的情况仅占其中的50%。
