Sherry Xie同学你好，和Residential不太一样，residential一般都是认为是自住房屋。

Omg 这位老师 I’m not trying to give you a hard time, but this has happened over and over again. 我也知道 residential 是自住房的意思，if not, there’s a thing called dictionary, I wouldn’t come here and ask you the definition of the word. And can you not get that the reason I asked this question clearly shows that I don’t understand the difference behind the concept of it, not the definition of this word. So, do you mind explaining the difference between these two? Or can someone else answer my questions from now on! Thank you!

By the way, the reason I asked this question is not because I’m troublesome, but in case on the exam, they play a word game, and asks about residential property, and I’d like to prepare myself for any “surprises”

commericial和自住房最大的区别是什么？前者可以租，后者自住不出租，所以commercial兼有债的特点（bond-like/房租）和股的特点（stock-like/房屋出售价格）。当投资者投资商业房地产时，他们希望获得的现金流量来自租户支付的租金，而自住房就没有这个特点。

This is really unnecessary, but I’m writing my exam in early September, so I’m positive I’ll have tons of upcoming questions in the following months, so lets get this straight now. My intention of coming here is to boost efficiency, learn the things, solve my problems and pass the exam asap, and your goal is to help students solve their problems. I’ve tried multiple times that I have to keep going back and forth on a single question with you, and it takes a day per round... which causes frustration and reduces efficiency enormously. Maybe you are a good teacher, but it just doesn’t work out with me, so the simplest way is to leave me alone, let somebody else answer my questions, it’s been working out well so far with other teachers, and this will also be easier for you. I have nothing against you, don’t take it personal, in the end, I’m just suggesting a simplest way to solve my problem, and I ensure you it’ll be easier for both of us. Thanks for your understanding.
