同学你好，has earned the CFA designation by passing three exams，就是说当事人通过了三个级别的考试，获得了CFA designation，这并不意味着获得CFA designation只需要通过三个级别的考试。
比如，我可以说某人获得了博士学位by发表了论文，但仅仅发表论文是得不到博士学位的，还需要很多其他方面的努力。
对此不必过多纠结。A选项的表述肯定是有问题的。不可以说自己考了CFA就比别人优秀了，只能说自己通过学习CFA取得了进步。
