武同学老师，flexibility不是形容词，more and more后面不是加形容词吗？

1.当more and more 表示“越来越多的” 时，后接名词 ，例：
More and more people entered the train and the train was crowded..越来越多的人上了火车,火车非常拥挤
2.当more and more 表示“越来越,日益”时，后接形容词或副词，例：
My hometown is getting more and more beautiful.我的家乡变得越来越美丽了
He works more and more carefully.他工作越来越认真了

可是上面讲的是后面跟形容词原级，举的例子是后面跟名词，这儿有点不对应。
