Prepayment=(Beginning of month mortgage balance - scheduled principal repayment)*SMM 1.公式中算出的prepayment,我理解不包含scheduled principal repayment,对不? 2.Cash flow= Net interest payment + Total principal repayment,这个cash flow,是否只是cash outflow,不算cash inflow?

1.对的,理解正确
2.对的,是cash outflow。cash flow 我们这里只考虑 MPS 资产池现金流结构。这里分为两块,一部分是给到投资者的那部分 net interest payment, 另一部分是偿还的总本金。

Cash flow= Net interest payment + Total principal repayment 都是给的投资者。
就相当于你买的债券,只不过本金不是在到期时偿还,而是每期都会偿还一部分

1.mortgage balance的意思就是mortgage pool 的本金
2.prepayment来源于贷款人的提前还贷
