乐同学对C选项还是有疑问，客户与经理意见不一致的时候，根据题目中提到"liquidate a large portion of his assets quickly", 应该是对IPS影响较大的，我认为这个时间应该有修改IPS的步骤才算合规，不然因为客户的要求导致的年化回报率达不到预期的责任谁来承担呢？是否应该有个书面的免责和追溯。

我查了下原版书，“Should the unsolicited request be expected to have a material impact on the portfolio, the member or candidate should use this opportunity to update the investment policy statement. Doing so would allow the client to fully understand the potential effect of the requested trade on his or her current goals or risk levels.”这里也是说要更新IPS。

题干中这里说到了是for an emergency，这是一个紧急的情况，比方说客户有特殊的情况必须要用大量的资金，像生病这种的，仅仅是一个特殊情况，不需要更改IPS
