Bingo同学你好。George在材料当中展示了自己过去的业绩（George includes in the fund marketing material his performance history from his previous employer）。但George只拿到了historical return figures（数据） 以及 the supporting research reports。
Record Retention这条细则根本原则是：在进行投资分析和投资行为的过程中，所有的信息和记录都必须保存下来。所以如果只带走历史数据和研报，而缺少所有相关支持性的文档，从业人员就违反了record retention这条细则。

吴慧敏CFA协会要求材料至少保留7年，G利用前公司的数据材料做分析，那这些用来做分析的基础材料肯定没有保留在现公司中。分析应该有理有据，从过程到结论这些材料都是要保存的，并且可追溯。G应该做的是利用现公司的数据资源，去做分析。

题目说的是his performance history from his previous employer. 而his historical return figures and the supporting research reports是被permitted的，我们的点好像不在一起，performance history说的历史，没说是数据和材料，不是说不要扩展解释吗，history难道不能用return figures 和 research reports来展示吗？
