上证50指数用附件所示方法加权，由于不是考试内容，建议了解即可，最好忽略。

那么哪种情况选rebalance,哪种情况选reconsitution?什么时候选both呢？

rebalance，调整的是组合中各个股票的权重，而不会替换或加入新的股票；
To maintain the weight of each security consistent with the index’s weighting method, the index provider rebalances the index by adjusting the weights of the constituent securities.
reconstitute，是指有新的股票加入，或原有股票剔除了，导致组合中股票发生了变化；
Index reconstitution refers to periodically adding and deleting securities that make up an index.
对于both很难说，原版书没有总结这一块，主要和具体的加权方法有关。
一般来说，涉及reconstitute的，都会涉及rebalance。比如，按照市值加权的方法，如果加入了一个新的股票，那么各个股票的市值占比肯定会发生变化，就涉及both。
